Example A: Sorella Boutique.

Kylie has been seen sporting their clothes on more than one occasion.

DIY Jewelry Organizer

Hey guys! I've got another DIY for you today! This one is a jewelry organizer that you can hang up on your wall. This DIY was born out of necessity, because last weekend, I went to Tiffany's and bought a  beautiful necklace. When I got it home, I realized I had no good place to store it. At the time, I was keeping my accessories in a jewelry box, but it had no place to hang necklaces. That's the reason most of mine were twisted and tangled together in one large knot. The box was sitting on my desk, and it just took up too much space. So instead of getting an even bigger jewelry box, I decided to look upwards. The wall above my desk was uncharted territory. It had a few pictures adorning it, but besides that, it was barren and ready to be accessorized. I had seen similar DIY's on Pinterest, and decided to make one of my own. I don't have picture of each step, but it's very simple to understand. Here you go!
Time: Two hours
Step 1) Gather supplies
For this DIY, you'll need:
*An old canvas painting (in frame) that you won't miss
*Sheet of cork (I got mine for under $10 at Lowes)
*Staple gun + staples
*Hammer + nails
*Exacto knife
*Push pins
*Ribbon (optional)
*Level (optional)

Step 2) Remove the painting
Take the painting out of the frame. This might take a little time if it is really nailed tight.

Step 3) Cover the canvas
Lay the sheet of cork on the ground. Next, place the painting face-side down on top of the cork. Use the Exacto knife to trim the cork to the size of the painting. Flip the painting so it is face-side up, and place the cork right back on top. Use your staple gun to staple the cork into place around the sides. On my board, you could still see the staples when I placed it into the frame, so I added some ribbon to cover it up (I stapled the ends of the ribbons on the sides of the canvas)

Step 4) Hang it up
Once you've put your board back into the frame and made sure it is secure, hang that sucker on the wall! Be sure that it's level!

Step 5) Organize and Accessorize
Use the push pins to hang up your favorite jewelry. I also added some magazine pictures to fill up the board. And ta-da! You're done!

Steph

DIY Chanel Surfboard

You guys this DIY is probably my favorite yet! For months I have been obsessing over those beautiful surfboards emblazoned with the Chanel logo. However, I don't quite have the $18,000 that it costs. So, instead, I decided to make this (decorative) surfboard myself. I didn't take pictures throughout the process, but I'll try my best to explain the steps thoroughly.

Time: About two days

Step 1) Gathering Supplies
For this project, you will need:
*A piece of plywood
*A sharpie
*Ruler
*A reciprocating saw (with wood blades)
*Black paint
*White primer
*White paint
*Paint rollers
*Painter's tape
*Paint brushes (in various sizes)
*Chanel logo print-out
*Exacto knife
*Old rag (optional)

Step 2) Shape the board
To begin, use your ruler and sharpie to make the size you want your surfboard. Then, use the reciprocating saw to cut it out.

Step 3) Painting the base
You may want to sand down your board if there are any rough edges before you begin to paint. Regardless, make sure to wipe down the board so there is no excess saw dust. Then using a roller, paint on the base color (for mine I chose black). I suggest using the roller for this part because it goes much faster than painting with a brush, and the paint goes on much less streaky. It took me two coats to get my desired shade.

Step 4) Get the design
For this step, I have included the stencil that I used. Just blow it up as big as you want it to appear on your board. Once you've printed it out, use the Exacto knife to cut out the pieces. Make sure you only cut along the black lines. Once you have done so, remove the extra pieces (the black circle and black "CC").

Step 5) Marking the board
This step definitely took me the longest! Use your painter's tape to mark off two equal parallel stripes that run from one end of the board to the other. Then, place the Chanel logo where you would want it on the board. Mark on the tape where the logo will be, and remove the tape that would be under the logo. For this part, I used where the end of the paper was to determine where the stripes would stop, thus making a "square" around my logo. Next, tape the logo stencil onto the board.

Step 6) Finishing touches
Paint, paint, paint! Use your white primer for the stripes (if the base color of your board is black), and then paint a few coats of white over. Once, dry, remove the tape, and fix any messy edges with some touch-up paint.

Step 7) Display
Now it's time to enjoy your beautiful board! Put that baby up and let everyone see your accomplishment! I decided to put mine on a shelf in my room. Along with it, I placed a succulent plant, some Tiffany's bags and boxes, a Christian Louboutin nail polish, a Bath & Body Works candle, and a Neiman Marcus bag. That's just one of many ways you could style this piece! Have fun with it!

Movie Madness: Monte Carlo

Recently, I found myself rekindling my love for the movie Monte Carlo. It was released in 2011 and stars Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester, Katie Cassidy, Cory Monteith, Andie MacDowell, and more. It follows the story of a small town girl named Grace (Gomez), who works all throughout high school at a diner to save up for her dream trip to Paris. Accompanying her is her older friend Emma (Cassidy), who also works at the diner, and is dating Owen (Monteith).
After Grace's graduation, she is thrown a dinner by her mom (MacDowell) and her mother'a boyfriend. His daughter Meg, (Meester), joins as well. Meg has kept to herself since the passing of her mother. In an attempt to grow a sisterly bond, their parents send Meg along with Grace and Emma to Paris. None of the girls are thrilled with this idea.
Once in Paris, they find out that their tour is no where near luxurious, or even average at that. After getting left behind at the Eiffel Tower, the girls stumble through the rainy streets of Paris, hoping to find their way back to the hotel. While trying to find shelter from the pouring rain, the girls walk in to a very elegant hotel, where the meet Cordelia (also played by Selena Gomez), who is the spitting image of Grace. When Cordelia decides to skip out on her charity event, the hotel staff confuse her with Grace. The girls, needing a place to sleep, went along with it.
When morning comes, the girls intend on going back where they belong, but again are thrust back into Cordelia's luxurious life, being sent on a private plane to Monte Carlo. And that is where the fun begins! The girls go on adventures, find love, and realize they had all they needed in the first place.
This movie is an absolute must-see!

Chanel-Inspired iPhone Case

Not going to lie, I die a little every time I see a picture of someone with the Chanel Evening Bag (Cruise 2013/14). If you are as disappointed as I that you can't get your hands on this purse, worry no more. After scowering the internet for DIYs, I found that most were too simple looking, not resembling the iconic Chanel No. 5 nearly as much as it should. But, then, all of a sudden, I found the answers to my prayers! A perfume shaped iPhone case! Instead of spending thousands or dollars or wasting hours of your time, ou can buy one of these! It'll only cost you around $25 bucks! It's adorable, affordable, and functional! Here's the link to one of the many sellers offering this item on Etsy:

The Best Lipstick... Ever?

Cara Delevigne is my ultimate fashion inspiration. As I drooled over the Burberry add campaigns late last year, I found myself admiring her nude lip, and wanted to figure out what shade the Buberry makeup artists used on the models. After some research, I discovered it to be the Lip Cover in shade No. 1 (Nude Beige). During Christmas, I searched every department store within a fifty mile radius, and I came home empty handed. It wasn't even available on the Burberry website. I quickly lost hope and tried to find alternatives. Sadly, nothing was up to par.
After finding out Nude Beige was reintroduced into the spring collection, I decided to reopen my investigation. A few weeks ago, I was at the mall and decided to give the Burberry counter at Nordstrom one final chance. As per the usual, it was unavailable. But, this time, the sales woman told me something that others in the past had neglected to. They can place an online order, with FREE SHIPPING! All my dreams came true, and my lipstick came in the mail days later. I couldn't be happier with the quality of this product! It is opaque, moisturizing, and the color is absolutely beautiful on. Go get your hands on one (or two, or five, or twenty).

Want Worthy ft. Henri Bendel

Stemming from my obsession of Gossip Girl, came my new found appreciation for Henri Bendel. During my countless hours of browsing their site, I stumbled upon this beauty (pictured above). It quickly reminded me of the Cartier Juste un Clou bracelet, (pictured below) which costs $12,500. The Luxe Petite Nail Cuff from HB comes in at $88. Quoting Rachel Zoe, "I die". Its a fabulous buy for an even better price. Here's the link:
